Each year BRAD Child Development Programs seek quality approval for all centers. This requires the completion of the application and then a visit from a specially trained monitor, who uses the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS), if observing in a pre-school location. If the location is an infant and toddler facility, the monitor uses a tool entitled the Infant/Toddler Rating Scale (ITERS). These tools are designed to measure the quality of the environment, teacher – child interactions, safety, and the staff’s commitment to continuing education. The standards for Quality Approval from the Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education are very stringent. Our facilities and staff are truly of the highest quality and we are proud of our present and past achievements.
